Our Story

I started collecting when I was 10 years of age. I saw a fellow class mate with a 1964 Kennedy Half Dollar. I told him that I would buy it from him on Monday. That weekend I went to the park and collected soda cans to get money from recycling them. That Monday I got the coin from him and from there started my love of coins. At the age of 18, I started to buy and sell coins on the side until 2007 when I made my love a full time job. That is when I opened up Coin Guy in Spring Hill Florida and been doing it ever since.

I’m a charter member and past president of the West Hernando Coin Club, and a member of the ANA. I enjoy talking about coins and give lectures in local middle schools and area clubs.
